The Western Serengeti, where Asanja Nyasirori is located, is famous for its Grumeti River crossings during the Great Migration. From May to July, thousands of wildebeest and zebra attempt the crocodile-filled waters, creating one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles.
Even outside migration season, the region is home to excellent resident wildlife — elephants, giraffes, buffalo, big cats, and abundant birdlife. The mix of riverine forests, grassy plains, and rolling hills makes it a diverse and visually stunning safari destination.
With fewer vehicles compared to the central Serengeti, the Western Corridor offers a more exclusive safari experience, balancing adventure, tranquility, and breathtaking scenery.
