Ruaha National Park is Tanzania’s largest and one of its most remote safari destinations. Covering vast savannahs, rocky outcrops, and the winding Ruaha River, it offers some of the most dramatic landscapes and richest wildlife viewing in Africa.
The park is renowned for its huge elephant herds, rare antelope species such as sable and greater kudu, and large predator populations, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and African wild dogs. Birdlife is extraordinary, with more than 400 recorded species.
Because of its remote location, Ruaha receives far fewer visitors than the Serengeti, offering a true off-the-beaten-path safari where you can enjoy incredible wildlife encounters in complete seclusion.
