These Booking Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings made through BookMeAfrica Pty Ltd (“BookMeAfrica”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By confirming a booking, paying a deposit, or making any payment toward a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
BookMeAfrica Pty Ltd acts as a travel planner, booking facilitator, booking agent, and authorized sales representative for safari operators, lodges, camps, hotels, airlines, transfer companies, activity providers, and other travel suppliers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, BookMeAfrica does not own, manage, control, or operate the accommodation, transportation, safari services, flights, excursions, activities, or other travel products booked on your behalf.
All travel services are provided by independent third-party suppliers operating under their own terms, conditions, and policies.
A booking is not confirmed until:
Availability may change until confirmation is issued.
BookMeAfrica reserves the right to decline any booking request prior to confirmation.
For bookings made within 60 days of travel, full payment may be required at the time of booking.
Failure to make payments by the due dates may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of any amounts already paid.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Any costs imposed by suppliers will be payable by the guest. No date change is guaranteed until confirmed in writing.
All services are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier.
Guests acknowledge that airlines, lodges, safari operators, activity providers, and transport companies maintain their own operational policies.
BookMeAfrica cannot override supplier policies, cancellation terms, operational decisions, or pricing structures.
BookMeAfrica acts solely as an intermediary between guests and suppliers.
BookMeAfrica shall not be liable for:
Should a supplier become unable to provide services for any reason, BookMeAfrica will use commercially reasonable efforts to assist guests in identifying alternatives.
However, BookMeAfrica does not guarantee replacement services or refunds beyond amounts recovered from the supplier.
BookMeAfrica acts solely as a booking agent for airlines, charter operators, transfer companies, and transportation providers.

All transportation remains subject to the carrier’s conditions of carriage.
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for certain itineraries.
Guests are encouraged to obtain insurance covering:
BookMeAfrica accepts no responsibility for losses that could have or could not have been covered by travel insurance.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit for travel.
Any medical conditions, mobility limitations, allergies, dietary requirements, or special needs should be disclosed prior to booking.
BookMeAfrica and its suppliers reserve the right to decline participation in activities where safety may be compromised.
Wildlife experiences are unpredictable.
BookMeAfrica cannot guarantee:
Any marketing materials, photographs, videos, or descriptions are illustrative and do not constitute guarantees.
Guests acknowledge that travel in remote destinations may involve inherent risks including:
Participation in safari activities, game drives, walking safaris, balloon safaris, boat excursions, trekking, and other activities is undertaken entirely at the guest’s own risk.
BookMeAfrica shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, loss, damage, expense, or failure to perform arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Safari travel in Africa often takes place in remote wilderness areas where road infrastructure is managed by the Tanzanian government and park authorities, not by BookMeAfrica.

BookMeAfrica and its partners make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that all guests are:
However, BookMeAfrica cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, including government-maintained road conditions, weather-related delays, or minor mechanical issues that may occur during safari operations.
Refunds, partial refunds, or compensation cannot be requested on the basis of such operational circumstances, including but not limited to situations such as a vehicle getting stuck temporarily or experiencing a puncture.
These events are considered a normal part of remote wilderness travel.
By making a booking, guests agree to first contact BookMeAfrica regarding any dispute.
Chargebacks initiated for services provided in accordance with these Terms will be challenged.
Guests may be liable for any costs, fees, legal expenses, or administrative charges incurred in defending chargebacks along with a flat USD 1000 fee regardless of the chargeback amount.Â
Any complaints must be raised as soon as reasonably possible during travel to allow suppliers the opportunity to address the issue.
Complaints submitted after travel may limit our ability to investigate or obtain remedies from suppliers.
Personal information provided to BookMeAfrica will be shared with suppliers where necessary to facilitate travel arrangements.
Information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
Payment of any deposit, installment, or final balance constitutes acceptance of these Booking Terms & Conditions by all travelers included in the booking.
