The Central Serengeti, home to Asanja Moru Camp, is the heart of the Serengeti ecosystem and one of the most wildlife-rich regions in all of Africa. Known for its Moru Kopjes — striking granite outcrops rising from the plains — this area provides some of the best year-round game viewing in Tanzania.

The Central Serengeti is especially famous for its big cat sightings, with lions, leopards, and cheetahs frequently spotted on game drives. During parts of the year, the Great Migration herds also pass through, creating dramatic encounters between predators and prey on the open savannah.
