Lake Manyara National Park

Nestled beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park is known for its diverse habitats and beautiful scenery. The park features forests, grasslands, wetlands, and the alkaline lake that attracts large numbers of birds.

Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, and excellent birdlife, including seasonal flamingo populations. Despite its smaller size, it offers impressive wildlife diversity and varied landscapes.

It is an ideal addition to a Northern Tanzania safari and provides a unique contrast to the open plains of the Serengeti.
